Koh Tao is pretty much the archetype of a remote tropical island and home to some of Thailand’s best coastlines, with pristine white sand, nodding palm trees and glittering blue seas.

Koh Tao meaning ‘Turtle Island’ lives up to its name, being the scuba diving and snorkeling destination of choice in Thailand. The vibrant coral reefs under the waves are home to a wide range of exciting and colourful sea creatures, including turtles, naturally.

The white sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs of Koh Nangyuan and Koh Tao islands lie just north of Koh Samui. On this tour, set sail on-board a speedboat and visit both islands in one day. Along the way, make several stops to swim and snorkel, head ashore to hike up to a panoramic viewpoint on Koh Nangyuan, and paddle along the coast of Koh Tao in a kayak.

Itinerary

The friendly team of Insea Speedboat will pick you up directly from the hotel lobby on Koh Samui and bring you to the private pier at Bang Rak. Get helpful information from your guide and enjoy a light breakfast before heading by speedboat to Koh Nangyuan.

As you arrive at Koh Nangyuan, we recommend to immediately hike to the top of the spectacular viewpoint to avoid the crowds. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the top. You can spend time at the beach where plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas are available to rent.

There are a few separate swimming areas on Koh Nangyuan - the Japanese Reef Garden is certainly one of the most impressive snorkeling spots.

The tour continues by speed boat to Koh Tao which is just half a kilometer from Nangyuan. Stop at a hidden cove in the east of Koh Tao and enjoy a delicious Thai style lunch at the beautiful ocean front restaurant.

Then it is time for paddling by kayak along the dramatic coastline with steep cliffs. Less active paticipants can relax and cool off in the water and peer into the amazing underwater world from above. There'll be more snorkel stops at Mango Bay, Lighthouse Bay, Hin Wang Bay or Aow Leuk, and a last one at a secluded beach on Koh Phangan before the tour heads back to Samui.

This 7 hour 30 mins tour operates 7 Days per week, unless rescheduled due to weather conditions.

Departure & Return

An air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up from your hotel or specified accommodation, you will be provided with an exact pick-up time confirmation once your reservation is received. If you’re staying at private accommodation please provide a contact number for the property you are staying at as soon as possible. Alternatively, allow the tour operator to speak to one of the staff members who work at the property. Please note that an address is insufficient to locate a property on Koh Samui.

An air-conditioned vehicle will collect you at the Pier and drop you back to the hotel or accommodation you were collected from. All other participants of the tour will be dropped off along the way until the entire tour group has completely reached their accommodations.
