The marine park has 4 distinct types of forest, all teeming with wildlife. Some of the creatures that live here are langurs (long-tailed monkeys), little herons, hair-nosed otters, pacific reef egrets, white-bellied sea eagles, sea turtles, iguanas, and pythons.

Koh Mae Ko
This island has a stunning beach and an inland saltwater lagoon called Emerald Lake (Thale Nai). You can climb several pathways and a wooden staircase to the peak of a nearby mountain, where you get a full view of this sea-green body of water.
The observation deck of the island offers a magnificent view of the emerald lake and the northern part of the Angthong Marine Park. You'll also have the opportunity to go down to the lake and feel how beautiful and mysterious this place is.
Lunch
After exploring Koh Mae Ko, a delicious Thai style Buffet lunch will be served aboard the Big Boat before the tour heads to the next stop Koh Wua Talap.
Koh Wua Talap
One of biggest islands of Angthong is Koh Wua Talap, which is home to the largest population of wild monkeys in the marine park. Koh Wua Talap is a real tropical paradise with pristine beaches and picturesque virgin nature to explore.
Here you'll have the opportunity to climb to the highest observation deck at a height of 500 meters. This vantage point offers a bird's-eye view of the islands of Angthong National Marine Park. We recommend sturdy shoes for the ascent. After climbing you can relax on the beach and take a dip in the cool waters of the bay.
Almost every island in the marine park hides quiet bays with sandy beaches. For the most prepared travelers to Koh Wua Talap, there's also an opportunity to visit the Lotus Cave, here you'll be able to see the unique stalactites and stalagmites of the cave.
For people who are physically less active, there are a plenty of other activities available. Swim, snorkel or just simply relax on a beautiful beach.
Further more if you'd like to stay overnight on the island, the tour can offer to drop you off at the park ranger head quarters and pick you up from there again the following day. There are bungalows and camping sites available for rent.
