The Ang Thong National Marine Park is a pristine archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. It features towering limestone mountains, thick jungle, white-sand beaches, waterfalls and hidden coves and lakes.

The marine park has 4 distinct types of forest, all teeming with wildlife. Some of the creatures that live here are langurs (long-tailed monkeys), little herons, hair-nosed otters, pacific reef egrets, white-bellied sea eagles, sea turtles, iguanas, and pythons.

Koh Wao

Once the tour arrives at the first stop Koh Wao, participents are provided with snorkeling equipment. Here the adventure begins with discovering the park's vibrant and colorful marine life, which include parrot fish, gray rays, butterfly fish, sea urchins and a large number of colorful corals and polyps in their natural habitat.

Koh Mae Ko

Koh Mae Ko has a stunning beach and an inland saltwater lagoon called Emerald Lake (Thale Nai). You can climb several pathways and a wooden staircase to the peak of a nearby mountain, where you get a full view of this sea-green body of water.

The highest observation deck of the island offers a magnificent view of the emerald lake and the northern part of the Angthong Marine Park. You'll also have the opportunity to go down to the lake and feel how beautiful and mysterious this place is.

Koh Sam Sao

On the neighboring island Koh Sam Sao, tour participants can enjoy the breathtaking view of the beauty of the marine park with its 42 island groups and the azure sea in different colors. After there will be time to explore the amazing surroundings by kayak.

Koh Sam Sao (Tripod Island) has a coral reef, a large and dramatic rock arch, and some great hiking grounds. Once the activities on Koh Sam Sao have concluded, the tour then heads to Koh Wua Talap, one of the biggest islands in the marine park

Koh Wua Talap

Koh Wua Talap is a real tropical paradise with pristine beaches, picturesque virgin nature, and is also home to the largest population of wild monkeys in the marine park.

On Koh Wua Talap there is the opportunity to climb to the highest observation deck at a height of 500 meters. This vantage point offers a bird's-eye view of the islands of Angthong National Marine Park. We recommend sturdy shoes for the ascent. After climbing you can relax on the beach and take a dip in the cool waters of the bay.

Almost every island in the marine park hides quiet bays with sandy beaches. For the most prepared travelers to Koh Wua Talap, there is also an opportunity to visit the Lotus Cave, here you'll be able to see the unique stalactites and stalagmites of the cave.

Departure Time:

Return to Samui

At around 15:30 PM after spending approxiamtely 90 minutes on Koh Wua Talap, the tour will head the way back to the starting point on Koh Samui. Sit back,relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Thailand.

Arrival Time:

17:00 PM

At around 17:15 PM an air-conditioned vehicle will collect you at Nathon Pier and drop you back to the hotel or accommodation you were collected from. All other participants of the tour will be dropped off along the way until the entire tour group has completely reached their accommodations.
