What to expect

An experienced captain and crew will take you to the richest waters around the island, where the fish typically come to feed. Small islands you will visit on the schedule include Koh Madsum, Koh Tan, and Koh Rap. The specific itinerary will depend on the time of year, as the schools of fish migrate throughout the year.

The fishing takes place aboard a 43-foot Thai fishing vessel. The boat can carry upto 10 people excluding the captain and his crew. The boat offers everything needed for fishing: spinning rods, fishing rods, fresh bait, wobblers and equipment for trolling. There is a sun awning, comfortable seating, a dining area and a bathroom. There is also a cooler with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water you can also bring your own beers and wine.

In the morning, an air-conditioned vehicle will collect you from your hotel or accommodation to the pier where participants of the trip are guided to the fishing vessel. Once the entire group is aboard, the boat will depart for the Koh Tan and Koh Madsum islands.

Along the way to the fishing location a crew member will set up the trolling rods and will offer you to pull the first hooked fish. Once the boat arrives at the picturesque bay of the uninhabitated islands you may fish with a spinning rod or a bottom rod. There'll also e opportunities to snorkel over colorful reefs. To celebrate a great catch, a delicious lunch of traditional Thai food and a BBQ of freshly caught fish will be served aboard the boat.

After an eventful day of fishing the group will head back to Samui across the azure ocean to the pier, where an air conditioned vehicle will be waiting to collect and drop off all participants of the trip until the entire group has completely reached their accommodations.

Departure & Return

An air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up from your hotel or specified accommodation, you will be provided with an exact pick-up time confirmation once your reservation is received. If you’re staying at private accommodation please provide a contact number for the property you are staying at as soon as possible. Alternatively, allow the tour operator to speak to one of the staff members who work at the property. Please note that an address is insufficient to locate a property on Koh Samui.
